Supplies
Knitting Needles:
6 (4.0mm) Straight or Circular (min 28-inch cord) or DPN’s
Stitch Marker
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Cable Needle
Row Counter if needed

Yarn:
Madelinetosh DK Twist shown in Gentle Monster
Skill Level Easy/Intermediate

All bonnets are an average of 5 inches deep x 5s inches high when blocked
Blocking is necessary for opening up design and obtaining the right fit.
Abbreviations / Stitches
k- knit
p- purl
k2tog- knit two stitches together
p2tog- purl two stiches together
k3tog- knit three stitches together
p3tog- purl three stitches together
yo- yarn over
kf&b- knit front and back of stitch
FS- front slip
BS- back slip
skpo- slip 1, k1, pass slip stitch over k1 and drop it
Gauge:
20 stitches by 25 rows in stockinette
= 4 inches x 4 inches
If working with dpns, split stitches evenly when working in the round.
Yardage: 50-60 yards per bonnet
