A unique twist on the Mermaid Cocoon, this pattern is worked laying flat, not in the round. The stitches make it look like real fish scales!

The pattern gives detailed instructions for the cocoon, seashell bra and matching headband.

I would consider this to be an advanced/intermediate pattern. The pattern includes instructions for checking your gauge as well as what hook sizes to use.

If you’re using a thinner yarn, I recommend using 2 strands held together throughout the cocoon pattern.
