This is a great beginner/intermediate pattern for a delicate newborn size bonnet. It would make a great photo prop.

The finished bonnet measures 5” X 5”, which is the ideal size for a newborn baby’s head.

The pattern requires a size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook and lace weight mohair yarn
