This is a super easy crocheting pattern for a small, flat, rectangular or square shaped lacy newborn wrap. This wrap is a very versatile piece and can be put on top of baby, under baby or wrapped around baby like a cocoon or bowl.

I used a lovely worsted weight yarn but I have also seen this wrap made using a very fine mohair type yarn or even a super soft sports weight yarn. The possibilities are endless!

Makes the sweetest photography prop ever, but is not intended for every day use. Please never leave baby unattended while using this prop.

Since it’s crocheted using a super large hook, this lacy wrap works up quickly.
