A quick, retro inspired hat from “The Bob Newhart Show”. It is worked from the rib all the way to the top.

SUPPLIES
2.5 and 3 mm circular needles or DPN. Tapestry needle. 6 stitch markers. For this pattern I used a retro skein Fior D’Alpe BBB (lace 100% wool) held double to obtain a fingering.

GAUGE
37 st x 45 rows= 10 cm in SPOTS pattern with larger needles. Worked in the round once blocked. Check your tension and adjust your needle size accordingly.

SIZES AND FINISH MEASUREMENTS
3-6 months (6-9, 9-12, 1-2 years, 2-4, S-M adult, L) Hat, when stretched, fits head size circumference: 42 (44, 46, 48, 50, 54-56, 58) cm Height (from beginning of rib to tip of I-cord while hat when stretched): 17 (18, 20, 21, 23, 23, 24)
