Six sizes. Channel Island Cast-on with 1 x 1 rib, seam stitches, bisected reverse stockinette stitch underarm gussets, neck gussets and rolled collar. A circularly knit, horizontally patterned gansey.

Featured Techniques: Channel Island Cast-on, Underarm Gussets, Knitted Bound-off Shoulders, Inverted Triangular Neck Gussets.

Yarn: Guernsey yarn or other smooth sport weight
Finished Sizes: 34”, 38”, 42”, 46”, 50”, 54”

ERRATA FOR FIRST EDITION: first printing of the first edition of Knitting Ganseys, please note this change on page 136:

Shoulder join and inverted triangular gusset:
Put 25 (29, 33, 37, 41, 45) sts from the front right shoulder onto a needle.

This correction has been incorporated into the stand-alone pattern and subsequent printings of Knitting Ganseys. I’m sorry for any confusion!
