This unisex newsboy cap has all the right stuff-cold weather comfort, amazing texture, stashable peak and up to the minute grunge urban styling.

Cap is worked up in Loops and Threads Bulky Weight yarn (#5 weight) which is widely available in Michael’s stores. This particular brand was perfect for this project. Their multi hue yarn is self striping - you don’t have to do a thing.

Newman is seamless and crocheted in the round without slip stitches at end of each round. Adult Male and female versions are included in instructions. Cap will fit teens as well.

Pattern is for INTERMEDIATE BEGINNER who can crochet in the round and read a pattern. You will need to have knowledge of single crochet, double crochet and Front Post Double Crochet. I include a link to a great visual showing you how to do Front Post Double Crochet. It’s really quite easy!
