This News Boy Cap pattern is very easy to make, it’s a basic beanie using a double crochet stitch for most of it, the trim is single crochet. I used 2 strands of yarn when making the brim, to make it stiffer, but not too stiff.

I embellished it with three strands of chain stitches sewn on just before the brim, each side is accented with button. I used both wooden and metal buttons to coordinate with the thread.

You can make this hat in any color and use whatever buttons you prefer.
