The sample gloves are worked in Shibui Staccato, a fingering weight wool-silk blend with a luxurious feel. The “newsprint” colorwork patterning is fully charted.

For best results, it is advisable to make the main color dominant in this colorwork pattern. That is, if you use both hands in working 2 colors, hold the ivory (MC) in your left hand.

Also, be sure to “catch” any float that is longer than 4 stitches, to avoid getting caught on fingers:
