This scarf is super fun to knit and works up FAST! Zona is a blend with cotton, wool, acrylic, and nylon. Usually I shy away from too many synthetic fibers, but this yarn is fantastic. I named this Newsprint because of the black and grey color, and because it’s super lightweight like paper. This scarf is massive and you can wrap it around your neck TWICE, but because it’s so feather light and thin, it’s not cumbersome or annoying in any way. You can knit this pattern with two colors of any aran or worsted weight yarn and it would be amazing. I think it would look wonderful in an emerald green and aqua or just slightly different shades of any color. This pattern is suitable for the advanced beginner or intermediate knitter.
