Nexi Vest is a summery slipover with a beautiful drape and delicate detail. The top is worked in garter stitch starting from the bottom of the front piece and worked up over the shoulders and down the back, in one piece.
First an I-cord is worked as a base for the front piece stitches. Then working in garter stitch you will continue on making decreases to shape the armholes and - if preferred - short rows to shape the bust area. The work is then divided into a left and right side to shape the neckline, then re-connected and garter stitch with decreases to shape the backside of the arm holes are worked. Finally an i-cord is created at the bottom of the top.
Tie straps are crocheted and attached to the sides of the top.
