Nexia-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The brim is shaped with short rows but instructions are given also for straight brim. The stitch pattern is reversible so if you weave the ends in carefully you can use either side of the hat.

Yarn

100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample(size M) was knitted with Malabrigo Yarn Rios in colourway Cereza, (100% Merino, 192 m/ 210 yds per 100 g) and used 75 g.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.50 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of four DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

23 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches with bigger needles in pattern after blocking.
