This is the fourth shawl in the Women of Sci-Fi Collection

A crescent shawl inspired by Neytiri from Avatar.

Neytiri is deeply connected to the nature and essence of Pandora and I wanted to use some bright pops of colour among the stockinette background to show the neon flowers that grow over the planet.

A striped brioche section is added for romance and we continue to knit a lace border full of arrowheads to show Neytiri’s preferred weapon, which she expertly uses to protect those she loves.

You will need

MC: 100g/465yds of fingering weight yarn (I used Lovebugs Yarns Platinum Sock in “Aquamarine”
and also
C1-C5: 5x10g/46yds mini skeins (I used Lovebugs Yarns Crazy 80’s Neon Collection)

A great way to use up leftover and special mini skeins!
