This bonnet was designed and made for my friend Nhi - hence the name.
You start by knitting a rectangle, then picking up stitches and knitting back and forth. Then you knit the ribbing, pick up stitches in order to knit the ribbing that surrounds the face. Lastly, stitches are being picked up for the icords.

It’s a very quick and fun project - perfect for using stashed yarn and a really nice gift.
