This little cardigan has a loose fit with no ribbing whatsoever. The button and buttonhole bands are worked right in with the front pieces, so no sewing up is required (do check the note below on buttonholes, though). You can amend the length of the body and sleeves if you wish, and also increase the number of rows on the collar. Niamh, pronounced “Neev” means “bright” or “radiant.” Niamh was the name of the daughter of the Irish god of the sea, and also one of the queens of Tír na nÓg, the land of eternal youth.
