Top-down, written for a cast-on of 68 stitches, but easily adjusted to a bigger or smaller number of stitches via panels of knit/purl on the edges.

Gusset increases for the heel are centered in the back of the sock.

Pattern is named for a warm tropical beach, which is where I’d like to be right now, with a margarita in my hand, instead of in all this snow and ice. Knitters in my generation will understand the title. :-)
