I designed this hat for a friend of mine who is not a knitter but loves wooly things. The textured design is mostly shaped by lace with one cable row to keep the pattern fun and engaging. The hat comes in two sizes and is a quick finish that makes a great last minute gift for the loved ones in your life. The pattern has both charts and written instructions. Use a smooth DK yarn that shows off the textured stitches to perfection. This pattern was tech edited by Chaitanya Muralidhara.

Brim Circumference (unstretched): 18(19.5) in / 46(50) cm
Height: 9.25 in /23.5 cm tall
To fit head circumference: 22(24) in / 56(61) cm

Note: The M hat gives a slightly slouchy fit to my 22 in head, while the size S is a fitted beanie. To lengthen the hat, knit additional ribbing rows at the brim.
