The pattern is written as row-by-row description and contains helpful step-by-step photos for important parts.

Yarns used:
– body and dress: Adelia Claire (50% wool, 50% acrylic; 50g [1.75 oz] = 138 m [151 yds]) in White and Blue
– stockings, boots, scarf and hat: Novita Alpaca Wool (50% alpaca, 50% wool; 50g [1.75 oz] = 100 m ]109.4 yds) in Brown, Grey and Red. Individual amounts are listed below.
– hair: novelty bouclé-type “Lotus travka stretch” by Kamteks (50g [1.75 oz] = 80 m [87.5 yds])
You may use any yarn of similar yarn weight with a comparable fiber content. Softer yarns are better suitable. Using yarn of a different yarn weight than that of the pictured sample doll is also perfectly acceptable, but will affect the size of the finished doll. The yarn used for the hair should be thick and voluminous – thinner yarn is possible, too, but more fiddly to handle.

Individual color requirements:
– 25 g [0.9 oz] white yarn for the body, the doll’s dress and the stripe on the scarf,
– 5 g [0.18 oz] dark blue yarn for the stripe on the dress,
– 25 g [0.9 oz] red yarn for the stockings, scarf and hat and mittens,
– 5 g [0.18 oz] brown yarn for the boots,
– 10 g [0.35 oz] grey yarn for the coat,
– 15 g [0.53 oz] beige-colored boucle yarn for the hair,

Other materials needed:
– 2 beads for the eyes (either black or blue)
– embroidery floss the same color as the beads for the eyes
– set of 4 DPNs in size 2.5 mm [US1.5]
– crochet hook in size 2.5 mm [US1.5]
– polyester filling or wool roving as stuffing ,
– extra long sewing needle for assembly
– tapestry needle for seaming pieces
– sewing machine with zigzag stitch for the wig (hand stitching may be substituted)
– a piece of double sided adhesive tape, 1.5–2 inches wide and about 5 inches long
– a piece of plastic (from the flat part of a milk jug) and sturdy scissors for the pompom template (or a pompom maker tool)
– a piece of bendable wire for the leg frames, 50 cm [19.7 in] long, and pliers
– 4 decorative buttons, diameter 5 mm [0.2 in].
