Materials & tools needed:
• Any #1 fingering weight yarn / #2 Sport weight yarn
Yarn usage varies according to body measurements and yarn weight
- top version: approximately 150gr - 350gr of cotton yarn
- dress version: approximately 300 gr - 700gr of cotton yarn Yarn recommendation:
- Cotton yarn will form crisp drapes and ruffles, acrylic yarn create more soft and fluffy drapes.
- Yarn that is soft and silky will form more defined drapes (e.g: bamboo cotton yarn, silk yarn). Yarn that is light will create fluffier drapes (e.g: acrylic yarn)
- #1 fingering yarn will form more flowy ruffles than #2 sport weight yarn.
- DO NOT USE any yarn that is thicker than #2 sport weight yarn. When you use thicker yarn, the crocheted pieces won’t create flowy and pretty ruffles.
• Respective crochet hook for any weight yarn that you choose + one size larger hook
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Measuring tape / ruler
As it is made to measure pattern, I include my gauge just for reference.
• #1 fingering weight milk cotton yarn (3.00mm hook), 5cm x 5cm gauge swatch = 8 sc x 5 rows
• #2 sport weight cotton yarn + 2 strands of glitter yarn (3.50mm hook), 5cm x 5cm gauge swatch = 7 sc x 4.5 rows
