We use our leftover yarn to whip up these tiny granny square blankets and then donate them to the NICU of a local hospital.

For the experienced hooker they take only a few minutes to make. They can be made in one color or in a variety of striped combinations.

SIZES
The finished size of this blanket measures approximately 20 x 20 inches.

NOTE ABOUT GAUGE
It is recomended that you create a gauge swatch for this blanket.

9 dc-groups + 8 rnds = 4 in. 10 cm in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. 10 cm square, try using a smaller size hook. If it takes you more stitches and rows to make a 4 in. 10 cm square, try a larger size hook.
