PDF Crochet Pattern only. Finished toy will be approximately 4 inches tall, though sizes may vary according to stitch size, yarn choice, etc. Finished toy may not be appropriate for very young children, as the safety eyes and small coins and chain may pose a hazard.
5 page PDF with photos for reference and a link to a how-to video to work the eyes. Pattern includes the niffler, coins, and chain.
Materials I used (though feel free to substitute to make it your own)
• Black yarn for body (Easy Peasy: The Coal Shebang)
• Tan/Camel yarn for snout and paws (Big Twist: Camel)
• Silver yarn for treasure (Ice Rock Star: Silver)
• Gold yarn for treasure (Ice Rock Star: Gold)
• Safety eyes: (Black or brown: 10 mm)
• #4 crochet hook (Clover hooks)
• Stitch markers (plastic)
• Straight pins (ball tip)
• Embroidery needle (plastic or metal)
• Scissors
• Fiberfill: (Poly-fil)
Skill Level: Beginner plus - you would already know (or are willing to learn) the following:
• sc = single crochet
• inc = increase stitch
• dec = decrease stitch
• ch = chain stitch
• sl st join = slip stitch join
• hdc = half-double crochet
• FO = finish off
• IFO = Invisible finish off
• MR = magic ring
• whip stitch
