This pattern makes a snug fitting cover for a Swiffer brand floor sweeper size: 4 inches by 10 inches. You begin with a seamless cast on of your choice, knit in the round,
bind off part of the stitches for the opening, cast on stitches again to knit back and forth until an inch befor the required length and then begin knitting in the round again. Purl graft the end closed, crochet a drawstring, thread it around the opening and tie a pretty bowtie and voila a re-usable sweeper cover.

5/2012 This pattern takes about 1oz or 1/3 of the skein, so you should be able to make three covers from one skein.
