This cowl is inspired by the symbol of the Night Court from the series A Court of Thorns and Roses. The inside of the cowl is inspired by Fayre’s tattoo as High Lady. I hope you enjoy this pattern, as it is my first. If you are here because you like the design but are not a fan of the books, just be aware people may recognize it and ask if you are a fan!

I used Malabrigo Ultimate Sock Yarn in the colorways Under the Sea and Natural. Approximately 370 yards (87 grams) of main color and 140 yards (33 grams) of contrast color in a sock weight yarn.

This pattern is worked in the round, with larger needles first for the mountains, then smaller needles for the sworls and roses. The inside is then folded in and either sewn or knit togther.
