Night Court Hexagon Cardigan
This is my take on the viral hexagon cardigan trend! I wanted something that wasn’t so hole-y like the granny square stitch so I incorporated solid double crochet hexagons with some back lining night court inspired granny squares to make this cropped cardi!
I used big twist yarn but any worsted weight will do. To make a S/M I used 1 skein of black and 2 skeins of gray ombre, plus some scrap white and gray yarn I had laying around.
The bulk of the cardigan is made using the two hexagon method so it can be easily tailored to whatever size needed by the size of the hexagons made (ie: how many rows you crochet!). I wanted mine more cropped so I didn’t add any rows onto the length, only the sleeves, but you could easily adjust it to be a duster or whatever floats your boat.
It’s a fun project that you can zone out and keep doing row after row of while listening to your favorite fae audiobook!
I hope you enjoy!
