This design offers instructions for worsted weight yarn.

INTERMEDIATE CROCHET LEVEL
The skills you need to know to make this crocheted hat are: how to carry yarn, color change, follow a graph, and waistcoat stitch.

This pattern was tested with Bernat Premium and I Love This Yarn. Use any worsted weight with a stretch factor to it.
Written for teen-adult head size.
* Note: Red heart (super saver) yarn has a tendency to be thicker than other yarn types, so if choosing this yarn, be aware that the finished product may turn out larger and bulkier than what the pattern calls for, and a smaller hook size may be required to achieve desired fit.
