This wonderfully timeless and textured beanie was inspired by the monkey fist knot. The texture lends itself to tonals so fabulously. The hat is worked in the round on, first size US5 needles, and then, on US6’s. While the pattern is written for one size there are instructions on how to go up or down sizes. The gauge is 6 stitches per inch.
You will need:
Materials
• 1 skein of Yarnitoli DK yarn (231 yards)
• Size US5 16-inch circular needles
• Size US6 16-inch circular needles
• Size US6 DPN’s (or magic loop is fine)
• Darning needle
