The “Night Tripping” pattern and “Such a Night” colorway from Dragonfly Fibers are part of the 50th anniversary celebration for The Quarter Stitch in New Orleans, Louisiana. This pattern/yarn combo is designed to commemorate the original Night Tripper himself, Dr John, who sadly passed away mere weeks before the release of this yarn and pattern.
The fingering weight yarn is held doubled throughout this pattern. The hat band as knit is about 20” around. Instead of adding or removing stitches, given the large pattern repeat we recommend changing your needle size if you would like a different size hat.
