Thank you so much for checking out my plushie backpack! This intermediate-level pattern includes instructions for the plushie backpack and the regular plushie versions of the nightmare baby. This is a low-sew pattern! The arms, straps, and head are the only pieces needing attachment. This design also features an optional leg-kick mechanism using an air pump for those who want to add a little interactive fun! The backpack uses a premade, 7x9-inch drawstring liner, but those with sewing skills can make their own liner. If you’re making a kicking backpack, I highly recommend using the specified yarn or an equivalent to make sure the sizing is right. Mine measures about 16 in. tall and 7 inches wide, not including the arms.

This pattern is written in US terms and is worked mostly in the round. The straps are “made to fit.”
