This pattern is perfect for spring because it is a cowl that depicts the Spring Triangle. The Spring Triangle is an astronomical asterism made up of three stars from three different constellations: the star Regulus in Leo, Arcturus in Bootes, and Spica in Virgo. These three stars create a narrow pyramid which appears in the Northern Hemisphere soon after the March equinox. This cowl is perfect to wear at this time of year when the nights are getting shorter, and the weather is getting warmer.
