The Nightwatch hat is knitted in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a twisted rib brim. The main colourwork pattern is then worked from the charts, followed by the crown decreases. The top of the hat is finished off with a small i-cord. The beret shape of Nightwatch is revelaed during the blocking process after knitting.
