This pattern is a US version which I adapated and re-wrote from a Noro original published in Noro Magazine, Volume 23, 2007.

Despite the original pattern saying it only used 2 balls of Taiyo, this one uses 3 (I discovered this after two attempts at making the bag and trying to get it to only use 2!).

BUT you will be left with 2/3 of a ball - which I just crocheted into a kid’s cardigan or you could make a hat or I also knitted the Scrap Happy Celebration Hat with the ball left over from my most recent bag.
