ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Niki Skirt is worked in Basketwave Stitch in the round on circular needles. Start your work with a provisional cast-on, then
work the waistband, then the rest of the skirt. The Niki skirt is very quick to knit and easy to wear, and you can adjust the length to
suit your needs.
SIZES
XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL)
Sizes above correspond with the following waist and hips circumference:
Waist: 58-63 (64-69) 70-75 (76-80) 81-85 (86-90) 91-95 cm
Hips: 86-90 (91-95) 96-100 (101-105) 106-110 (111-115) 116-120 cm
Measure your own waist and hips circumference to determine which size will fit you the best. If your waist and hip circumferences
correspond to 2 different sizes, we recommend you choose the size corresponding to your hips circumference.
Example: Waist circumference 61 cm ( = size S )/ Hips circumference 94 cm (= size M ), you will need to knit size M.

Approx. 300 (300) 400 (400) 500 (500) g of Alpachino Merino from Wool and The Gang 60% Merino 40% Baby Alpaca,
100 g = 100 m
Color: Lilac Punch
Circular needles 5 mm 80 cm
Circular needles 6 mm 80 cm
Crochet Hook 6 mm
Elastic approx 4 cm in width
Tapestry needle

Approx. 800 (800) 900 (900) 1000 (1000) g of Alpachino Merino 60% Merino 40% Baby Alpaca, 100 g = 100 m

GAUGE
Gauge on the yarn label: 13 sts x 18 rows =10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, on needlesize 6,5 mm
Gauge in Basket Wave Stitch: 13 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Basket Wave Stitch, on needlesize 6 mm
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on
10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
