Construction
Beginning with a drawstring brim framing the face, the front body is worked flat in one piece up to the crown, which is shaped with centered top decreases. The two sides of the body are then seamlessly joined at the center back using a simple ssk/p2tog method. Next, stitches are picked up around the neck edge to work the bib. The bib is first knitted in the round, incorporating decorative shoulder line increases, and then worked flat for the front and back yokes. The front yoke is shaped with a gently rounded edge for a polished finish.
