Fair Isle patterns never look boring! The Nikki hat is knitted with 2 contrasting colors in simple Fair Isle patterns with stunning result. This is a revival of the classical snowflake pattern from Scandinavia, my first Fair Isle design. I had as much fun making the pattern as knitting the hat.

The easy‐to‐follow pattern repeats are illustrated in a color chart. If you’re new to the Fair Isle technique, this is the perfect pattern to begin with, you will practice and gain confidence while you’re having fun at the same time!
