Nikki the Tiger Shark
Tiger sharks are well known for their dark, vertical stripe markings and their curious nature. Lots of times, they are accompanied by small remora fish, which are hitching rides and keeping their hosts clean of parasites and food scraps. Together, they travel through the ocean and make the marine ecosystem a better place.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
The pattern comes as one PDF file with detailed instructions on everything you need to know to crochet Nikki the Tiger Shark and her remora travel companions. It can be followed step-by-step and is accompanied by photos for all the trickier parts.
Next to the written pattern, the PDF includes a list of all needed materials & tools, a table of all stitch types/abbreviations required for this pattern, and also a tutorial section with detailed explanations for some of the more unusual used stitches and techniques. The exact yarn colors & skein amounts I used are also included in the pattern.
The pattern also includes information on how to set up the remoras to attach to Nikki’s body magnetically. The magnet system is still more of a prototype though, and might not work with all yarn types/weights!
If you find any typos, mistakes, or unclear parts, please let me know and I’ll do my best to correct & update the pattern!
