V2 is the most recent!
Thank you, as always, to my fabulous test knitters!
This reversible shawl is made out of minimalist elements to create a versatile item that you can wear open or wrapped around your body for extra coziness (Sontag style). The unique shape curves naturally around your shoulders and provides extra warmth leaving your arms free to knit!
The Nimh Shawl is seventh in a series of collaborations with Ontario indie-dyers. Roots & Rain creates wonderfully complex naturally dyed hues with locally sourced yarn and rain water.
This shawl is knit flat from tip to tip in garter stitch. Increases are made to form a triangle; short rows are then worked to form wedges which create a crescent at the back; stitches are then decreased to form the second triangle.
