The Nina Hat is a fitted textured beanie, that features a ribbed brim and a beautiful lattice rib stitch pattern. It is perfect for keeping your head warm and comfy.
The hat is knit bottom-up in the round.
The pattern includes both charts and row-by-row written instructions.
The stitch pattern is a multiple of 16, please keep that in mind when changing the hat size, or using the different weight yarn.

To compose a hat-and-mittens set, the Nina Mittens Pattern will be perfect, in addition.

SIZE: One size to fit an adult head 54-58 cm in circumference; the total length is 26 cm.

MATERIALS:
 sizes 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm circular needles, 60 cm long (or size needed to obtain gauge).
 size 3.5 mm double pointed needles;
 cable needle (optional);
 100 g of worsted weight yarn (250 m/100 g);

For the sample shown, Merino Soft Yarn by Le Fil (100% merino wool; 125 m/50 g) was used.
 darning needle;
 stitch marker;
 scissors.

GAUGE:
28 stitches and 37 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, on smaller needles (measured after wet blocking).
If using another weight yarn, make sure that an adjustment is not necessary. Changing your yarn weight will change both the size and appearance of the finished project as well as the amount of yarn required.
Gauge varies from knitter to knitter and strongly depends on your individual manner of knitting. Before you start, it is recommended to knit a swatch to determine your gauge. Go up or down in needle size or yarn weight until you are satisfied with the result.
