This baby blanket has a lovely texture and is made using 5 colours of Stylecraft Special DK. You need an odd number of colours to get them across both parts of the pattern. The blanket is shown in two different colour schemes:
A- vintage peach, B - parchment, C- apricot, D - mocha and E – cream or A – boysenberry, B – silver, C – pale rose D – grey and E - cream

You need to be comfortable making bobble stitches and front post stitches. I do not think this would be suitable for a beginner but should be manageable for someone with a little experience. i have put a link in the pattern to a You Tube video which clearly demonstrates how to make the ripple section of the pattern and I recommend viewing it if you have not done this stitch before.

The blanket can be made with any yarn using an appropriate size hook and there are instructions given for how to change the size of the blanket.
