In the bygone days of quiltmaking, little girls were given small squares of cloth to assemble. They would make three rows of three squares and then sew them together to make a Nine Patch design. The completed squares would later be sewn together to make small quilts. Our Nine Patch sweater is knit all at one time and can have dramatic effects depending on the colors used.
