This pattern is for a crochet beanie and attached mask. The mask is attached in two places (near the ears) and left free everywhere else. The mask ties in the back of the head to desired tightness. The two- point attachment allows the hat to be worn with the mask over the eyes or folded up onto the hat to be out of the way. A tapestry needle is used to attach the mask to the hat.

The hat is sized for a child aged 5-9 but contains notes for how to modify for a smaller or larger size. The mask fits both children and adults.

The hat and mask each use < 1/2 skein (<100 yards) of the recommended yarn.
