Nippy is a uniquely contoured headband that can be worn with either edge up, covers the ears, and can be worn over or under longer hair. Knit in snuggly, machine washable, “Outer” or Lion Brand Wool-East Thick & Quick yarn - who could ask for more?

This headband is one of three coordinating designs. The pattern may be purchased individually, or as part of the Nippy Trio Collection, which includes the Nippy Hand Wear Duo mitten/fingerless mitt pattern.

Design Details:

• Recommended for the Intermediate level knitter
• Knit on a US size 10 16” circular needle
• Shaping is worked using short rows in the round - thorough explantion for the technique is provided in the pattern

Worked in one, or two colors, the headband requires very little finishing, and looks as lovely on the reverse as it does on the front. It has been tested in both the Outer and Wool Ease Thick & Quick, and knits to gauge in both of these yarns. Select your yarn based on your preference, or your budget :)
