Simple cables combine to create bold cabled panels in this classic beanie that knits up in a flash!

Pattern note: The pattern as written will have a small amount of room at the crown. For a shorter, tighter fitting beanie, omit Rnds 13-16 of pattern to work 2 cables, instead of 3, in the crossed cable section in the middle of the hat. This will result in a hat height of 8.25” (21 cm).
