This pattern is written for Patons Crystal, which is discontinued, and there seems to be no online information available on the yarn. According to the Patons booklet:

Crystal is ideal to knit or crochet, looks like denim in daylight - glows under night light. 85% Dralon and 15% Irish Linen, it machine washes beautifully.

From the gauge notes it seems to be a 4-5 ply.

Measures: 27 (31) inches; 69 (79) cm
