The pattern is super easy, with only single crochet stitches (with a few increases here and there). It’s so quick to work up it makes a perfect last minute gift or Easter egg hunt addition.

What you’ll need:

• 3.5mm crochet hook
• DK yarn in black, white and purple
• Stitch marker if it helps
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Once complete it stands around 8cm tall and as pictured perfectly fits around a Kinder egg.

Although designed for Easter, it could really be used any time of year as a cute place to stash a keepsake, or anything that fits. Alternatively, once Easter is done, he can be stuffed and stitched to create an amigurumi stuffed toy.
