No Place Like Home
by Judy Jewell
The first sample of this top-down raglan pullover was designed with the yarn in mind first. It is first worked flat, then is joined and worked in the round. I chose The Autumn Acorn’s naturally hand-dyed sport weight yarn in a merino/nylon blend for both the main color and the contrasting color. Between the golden yellow and the lace pattern, which resembles sunflowers, the name, “No Place Like Home” was born. A sweet tribute to Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and the majestic state flower of Kansas, the Sunflower.
This one-piece pullover with a lace front panel is the perfect little pullover for chilly, autumn days!
