There is an old saying no pressure, no diamonds. Well, we beg to differ. This cowl is completely pressure free. Not much counting, no tricky stitches, no lace, or bobbles, or cables. Just lots of rows of fun no-pressure garter stitch that knits up into charming diamonds to give this cowl multiple ways to fashion it. So relax and no pressure!

Notions: size US 4 needle, darning needle, waste yarn if you wish to do a provisional cast on

Needle: US6 or size to get gauge

Measurements:
Width unseamed: 24”
Width seamed:: 12”
Height unfolded: 8” (10”)
Height folded: 4” (4¾”)

Yarn:
Small size is shown in Laughing Cat Fibers Sparkle Sock in the Speckles & Tails (Teal Tails) colorway (100g, 438 yds, 75% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Stellina - total yardage used was 245yds).
Large size is done in Bewitched Pigments Magic in the Hocus Pocus colorway (100g, 400 yds, 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon - total yardage used was 216yds).

Gauge: 40 rows x 28 stitches per 4” in garter stitch. Gauge is less important than drape. If you are liking the way your fabric is knitting up it is all good. You may need less or more yardage depending on what your gauge is, but you will have plenty to make the cowl in either size following these directions and repeats from one skein.
