Discontinued. This digital pattern is no longer available online.

Included in this pattern are instructions and pictures to crochet a palm size flower and butterfly. Both are constructed using the NO-SEW method where pieces are attached by SC in the round. The mouths are embroidered using needle and yarn. All attachable pieces can be stuffed or not stuffed; I’ll leave that up to you! I did not stuff any of the pieces for the examples in this pattern. These creations can be completed in less than 2 hours.

Pattern is written for use with blanket/velvet/plush type yarn, but can be made with any yarn choice. Hobby Lobby Baby Bee Adore-a-ball yarn was used to make both examples in the pattern, which is considered a size 5 chunky yarn.

Finished Size: Buttefly and flower are approximately 6” tall and 9 1/2” wide

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate+

Requires basic crocheting and sewing skills for embroidered details.

Pattern is written in US terms.

Pattern is worked in continuous rounds throughout.

Pattern is made by yarning under rather than yarning over, but please do whatever you are most comfortable with. Note that if choosing to yarn over, the look and size of your finished project may differ from what is pictured.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or need help! I can be reached via my Instagram, Etsy, Facebook, or email and will get back to you within 24 hours or sooner.
