No-Sew crochet chick and bunny
Beginner friendly, works up quickly, completely NO-SEW crochet amigurumi pattern to make a palm sized chick and bunny. Perfect for market makes and Easter basket stuffers!

Requires basic crocheting and sewing skills for embroidered details.
Gauge is not important, size will vary.
Pattern is written in US terms.
Pattern is worked in continuous rounds throughout.

Pattern is written for use with blanket/velvet/plush type yarn, but can be made with any yarn choice. Hobby Lobby Baby Bee Adore-a-ball yarn was used to make all 4 examples in the pattern, which is considered a size 5 chunky yarn.
1 skein Hobby Lobby Adore-a-ball yarn in color of choice (3.5oz/100g/92yds)
Similar yarn substitutes include Premier Parfait, Bernat Velvet yarn, size 5 bulky yarn or any size 4 yarn (will not use an entire skein).
Chick: Hobby Lobby Adore-a-ball in Bumblebee (approximately 42 yds was used)
Bunny: Hobby Lobby Adore-a-ball in Angel (approximately 32 yds)
NOTE: Final product may differ in appearance and size if choosing to use a yarn substitute. Placement of eyes, details, and body parts may also need to be adjusted to achieve desired look depending on yarn and tension.
Finished Size: Chick and bunny are approximately 4” tall and 4” wide
Size will vary depending on yarn and tension used
Small amount of yarn (2, 12” long pieces would be sufficient) in desired color for adding nose, whisker, and mouth details.
H hook (5-5.5mm) if using Adore-a-Ball yarn or similar, bulky 5 weight
G (4-4.5mm) hook for worsted weight yarn
