A quick and easy pattern written in American terminology. No sewing of body parts required. The arms are attached by crochet. The flower is made in one piece and can be detached from the head. Crochet skills required:

• working in the round
• single crochet, double crochet
• back post single crochet
• changing colours as you go
• increase and decrease
• working in the back loops / front loops only
• attaching yarn to existing stitches

Materials:

• DK yarn in dress colour, flesh colour, yellow and petal colour.
• Small amounts of black and red embroidery thread for the face features (alternatively, you can use split DK yarn)
• 3 mm or 3.5 mm crochet hook (depending on your tension)
• Polyfiber stuffing
• 6 mm or 5 mm safety eyes
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker for working in the round
