PATTERN DETAILS

Included in this pattern are instructions and pictures to crochet a palm size happy mushroom and poison mushroom that are constructed using the NO-SEW method where the cap and stem are attached in the round. There are 2 options included on how to attach the cap to the stem for the happy mushroom. Also included are directions to make and attach feet and arms, which is optional. The only sewing required is to embroider facial details if choosing that method and to hide yarn tails. I used a combination of felt and embroidery for the facial details, but feel free to use whatever you like! Both versions of caps and stem are interchangeable with each other to mix and match. Read the pattern carefully and thoroughly because I switch between different increase count numbers throughout the pattern. These creations can be completed in less than 2 hours.

Pattern is written for use with any type yarn. The pattern examples were constructed with size 4 worsted weight yarn, Hobby Lobby Baby Bee Adore-a-ball yarn, and Yarn Bee velvet yarn, which are considered a size 5 chunky yarn. Pictures of both versions are included in the pattern.
Finished Size: Worsted weight happy mushroom: 4 1/2” tall x 4 1/2” wide
Worsted weight yarn poison mushroom: 5” tall x 4” wide
Blanket yarn poison mushroom: 6 1/2” tall x 5” wide
Blanket yarn round cap mushroom: 7” tall x 6” wide at the cap
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate+

Pattern is written in US terms

Pattern is worked in continuous rounds throughout.

Pattern is made by yarning under rather than yarning over, but please do whatever you are most comfortable with. Note that if choosing to yarn over, the look and size of your finished project may differ from what is pictured.
